I accept cash or checks, no credit cards at this time.
I do not accept insurance, since I am committed to your privacy and to the quality of your therapy. I won't have managed care insurance people deciding either of these for you or for me. As a Licensed Clinical Counselor I do fall within the scope of reimbursable practitioners, and, if you like, I will provide statements for you to submit for reimbursement to you by your insurance company, according to their "out of network provider" policy.
I'd love to talk with you by phone, free of course, for about 15 minutes (please call me at 984-5525). Or, if you prefer, and since emotional, mental, and spiritual health is a social as well as a personal matter, I'll provide your first (individual) session for free. All you have to do is bring a full grocery bag of food for donation to The Food Depot in Santa Fe.
At this time I am in the office on Wednesdays and Fridays. Please schedule as early as you can as appointment times can fill up.
My full fees are as follows:
Individual sessions, 50 minutes, $85 plus NM gross receipts tax (total $92.00)
Couples sessions, 60 minutes, $125 plus NM gross receipts tax (total $135.00)
I
will discuss a sliding scale fee with you if this is necessary, based
on your financial and personal situation. Sliding scale fees are determined on a case by case basis, and do not follow a set formula.
I also reserve two session slots per week for people in dire financial circumstances, at minimal or no cost.
